Christmas Day

On Christmas day we drove up to Ballston Spa to visit Seth's parents. We had a great mini-vacation. Movies, monopoly, out to a movie, and out to lunch in Saratoga. My brother, John, was visiting with us and it was great to catch up and relax. We watched our 1st movie out since having Clare, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was nice to make it out and the movie was very touching. I'm still trying to post some of these great pictures from the holidays.

Clare's 1st Christmas: Christmas Morning

Clare was bright eyed for Christmas morning. Everyone was up. Even Elsa, our cat, was sitting under the tree waiting to open presents. Clare loves her new teddy from her Uncle. The last picture of Elsa is something that makes me think of the holidays and eating really well. She has an automatic feeder that spits out food twice a day at a set time & in a set amount. However, she has discovered that with a little shake with one of her 3 paws at the spout she can get an extra snack! She has been extra fluffy lately!

Clare's 1st Christmas: Visit from Uncle John & Christmas Eve

I've gotten behind on some pictures. We had a very busy Christmas. My brother, John, was able to make it out of Seattle before the record breaking snow storm hit Washington. It was his first time Clare met her Uncle John. He even watched her a couple times while I ran out to the grocery store and to a Dr appt. This is a picture before helping John with some last minute shopping at the mall. Clare was content in riding in her stroller around Macy's at Roosevelt Field Mall.
John was able to visit with us until after the holidays. Seth was on call Christmas Eve so we had friends over for snacks, cookies & games. This year has been going by so fast. Seth & I have made some really great friends and I feel so fortunate to celebrate the holidays with them. We are so lucky!
